This is just one of the dogs rescued by WOOF after the Woodward tornado.

“This is great news,” Maggie Steiner, an animal lover from Oklahoma City, said. “It is great that Norman and Atwoods is helping out. Norman knows it could have just as easily been them a couple of days before.”

WOOF Pet Rescue is dire need of all sorts of pet supplies. Dog and cat, leashes, collars, pet carriers, blankets and beds are just a few things they need to help care for all the pets that were displaced by the tornado last Sunday. Any type of pet supplies will be greatly appreciated.

“I will have to look around and see what I have,” Steiner continued. “What I don’t have, I’m sure that the pet store will have.”

Foster homes for those displaced pets are also needed. Before the tornado tore through Woodward, the small rescue was close to being full. This slideshow has photos of all the pets available for adoption With the additional pets from the tornado, WOOF Pet Rescue is struggling to house all of them.
