Kenzie is looking for a family!
There are so many dogs that have been languishing in rescues and shelters for months, some times even years! Please help spread the word and get our "Valley Long-timers" adopted. Here is this week's Valley rescue long-timer - Kenzie. Kenzie's story is one that can only be told by Kenzie in her own woofs:

My foster mom found me starving and alone along a city canal. I've had a pretty hard life but things have been looking up recently and I hope that continues. I have gained about ten pounds since then and I feel great for the first time in maybe forever.
I have learned to walk on-leash, and know the sit, stay, and down commands and really would love to learn a lot more in a home with a loving and responsible owner because I’m a very smart pooch. I like to walk, jog, roller-blade, and play fetch with my toys.
I am a newly-spayed, housetrained, cratetrained, 45-pound female mix breed with some Staffordshire terrier in me. The vet says I am between two- and three-years-old, I am current with all my shots and I looooove people!!!!
My foster family already has three dogs--and I like to be the center of attention anyway--so I need a permanent home. I come with my own crate, my favorite blanket, some toys, and I will be your bestest friend in the whole world forever.
