Update on senior German shepherd on death row in Texas

From death row, to safe

On Thursday morning, a beautiful, albeit neglected, senior German shepherd named "Gloria," was placed on a list to be destroyed at the Arlington Animal Services facility in Arlington, Texas.

As word of her frightening predicament spread across social media outlets, help arrived, just in the nick of time.

Volunteers with Heidi's Legacy Rescue were able to place Gloria on hold, and the death row dog was pulled from the facility before time ran out.

Hours ago, Heidi's Legacy posted the following update about Gloria on their Facebook page:

It was close and we were all holding our breath until we heard she was out of the shelter. Thank you Natacha.

My prediction, once fed regularly, vitamins, vetting, and meds, this girl will blossom into a beauty both inside and out. Stay tuned for Gloria's transformation.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to network on this neglected senior's behalf.
