Slaughterhouses, exposing their savage murders

Humans have a propensity for hiding shameful and savage acts inflicted on animals through various colloquies. For example, animals raised on factory farms and killed in slaughterhouses are referred to as livestock, suggesting they are mere objects. Their deaths are always referred to as killings, not murders. Why is this?

These animals are murdered, have no doubt of this fact, but that is an ugly word. Once again people are manipulated into a sense of false righteousness. Murder is defined as : the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought.

So this simple definition of a murder separates the deaths of humans, the self appointed supreme species, from the killing (murders) of animals. This is where the fallacy all begins. A verbal mandate implemented by people for their own benefit suddenly becomes a free pass to take the lives of all other creatures. They suffer no repercussions and in some situations they are lauded for their killings.

The actual slaughter facility is cleverly married with the word, house, in a subliminal message to suggest a cozy home or domicile, the slaughterhouse. What is that supposed to imply, it's like a lovely greenhouse?

If one doesn't recognize the dumbing down of these terms, the labeling of cognizant animals as a nonentity, it is easy to side step the realities and with clear conscience become part of this deadly syndrome.

Animals aren't products, they are living sentient beings. We have no conscionable right to raise them for our personal use, to slaughter them for unnecessary personal gains aka profits.

In reality a slaughterhouse is so gruesome that even a journalist is not allowed inside to watch the killing of these animals The activities inside these buildings were always carefully hidden from the public or so they thought. They were so full of their own arrogance they never realized other people, outsiders, could use the same slick words and happy faces they so condescendingly tossed about to play peek-a-boo with them and cleverly enter. Disguised as eager employees the secret underground investigating began.

Fortunately, through their dedicated vigilance, animal rights activist secretly taped and documented the grisly horrors of what was and is happening inside these walls. The slaughterhouses were exposed and the evidence was shocking. It certainly was clearly understandable why no one was permitted inside the killing rooms. No documentation of these animals' slaughters were ever permitted, their deaths endured in an endless misery couldn't be viewed or filmed.

When the animals arrive at these slaughterhouses they are herded into what is so benignly call the holding pen. Here, confused and frightened, they remain unaware of the gruesome death they are going to hopelessly endure. These traumatized animals are led up a ramp, one by one and enter the building, unaware they will later leave deceased, having been, stunned, bled out, beheaded, eviscerated, and their remains cut up into various pieces.

Some of these animals can't stand up or even move upon arriving at the slaughterhouse, they are called "downers" Too ill or injured from the miserable transport they are already suffering and need help. Of course that isn't going to happen, not here at death's door. Trapped with the human predators, it is definitely a hands on time for all the those workers so adapt at sadism, these merciless employees enjoy their demented folly.

An anonymous ex-employee shared how downers were treated, "The preferred method of handling a cripple is to beat him to death with a lead pipe before he gets into the chute... If you get a hog in a chute that's had the shit prodded out of him, and has a heart attack or refuses to move, you take a meat hook and hook it into his bunghole (anus)...and a lot of times the meat hook rips out of the bunghole. I've seen thighs completely ripped open. I've also seen intestines come out."

The activities inside slaughterhouses are carefully hidden from the public even as they proclaim to implement only the kindest of humane slaughters. This warm and fuzzy pair of words is a blatant deception, an oxymoron, obviously humane and slaughter contradict themselves. Did they actually believe people wouldn't notice that ridiculous mating game with these words?

We can call that a fail, not a good bluff word at all, humane + slaughter, an insipid concept.

It has been revealed that many animal aren't rendered unconscious in the Knock Box. Still with great self righteousness, this is one lucrative revelation the workers continue to adamantly deny. A typical denying of facts one would expect from those who invent words and refute the realities of their murders.

"Around 40% of animals in legal slaughter houses are not effectively stunned."

Even more disturbing is one out of every ten cows and steers is still alive after being stunned, throat slit, bled out, feet cut off. At this time the worker will indifferently slit their spinal cords to paralyze them and proceed with the skinning. Though unable to move, these animals feel the excruciating pain of being skinned alive.

With the latest attempt to pass new Ag-Gag laws criminalizing undercover videos and photos of these perceptive creatures, their wretched deaths may become more miserable and grievous. Animals such as chickens, turkeys, sheep, cows, domesticated deer, calves, pigs, and lambs shall be murdered with no accountability by their killers and not a single cry from their anguished deaths will be heard. This attempt at violating our freedom of speech is intolerable!

Chickens are considered the most abused animals in the world. Their lives are miserable, crammed into battery cages with many others, they have little space to move or reach food. Treated with little care or concern they are nothing but forlorn, mislabeled bio mass, whose only value is their blossoms, the eggs.

Piteous as these hens lives are their demise at the slaughterhouses is more reprehensible. The last moments of their life are spent shackled upside down on a conveyor by their fragile legs, their fear is indescribable. As it moves them toward their death they stretch their little heads attempting to hide their faces under the wings of the next condemned chicken.

Currently, the U.S. egg industry and the American Veterinary Medical Association oppose humane slaughter legislation for laying hens on the basis that their low economic value does not justify the cost of 'humane slaughter' technology. The industry created the inhumane conditions that are invoked to rationalize further unaccountability and cruelty Concerns

The despicable slaughtering and butchering of animals is brutal and violent, yet so many people are totally complacent when purchasing packaged segments of a corpse from grocery stores. We cannot let this prevail.

This quote come from a worker at a slaughter house on calf slaughter: "To get done with them faster, we'd put eight or nine of them in the knocking box at a time... You start shooting, the calves are jumping, they're all piling up on top of each other. You don't know which ones got shot and which didn't... They're hung anyway, and down the line they go, wriggling and yelling"(to be slaughtered while fully conscious).."

Can this industry get any more cruel or outrageous?

Recognizing the truth, we can't play Ping-Pong with adjectives anymore. We are living in a society that thrives and prospers on violence to animals, using them as their commodities whose only intrinsic value was to be born and raised for the privilege of dying for their captors.

Slaughterhouses are a blight on humans souls. A transparent hell where the innocent are butchered for vile mandates. Time for everyone to take off your smiley faces because this reality bleeds and cries out as it dies. Sadly, the last thing these animals will ever see is a vile human's face, pinched in a malevolent and sadistic sneer, their fists clutching their macabre tools of death. This is aberrant and scurrilous, these monstrous people are toxic, don't let them deceive you with their deceptive, dazzling double talk and sugary cliches. Their lust for money has compromised their moral codes and they are soulless.

Quote“Dominion does not mean domination. We hold dominion over animals only because of our powerful and ubiquitous intellect. Not because we are morally superior. Not because we have a "right" to exploit those who cannot defend themselves. Let us use our brain to move toward compassion and away from cruelty, to feel empathy rather than cold indifference, to feel animals' pain in our hearts.”
