Swheat Scoop Cat Litter
With an especially picky feline in the house, we’ve been careful about switching out anything from food to treats to cat litter. So, when I received some of Swheat Scoop’s Natural Wheat litter latest version to try, I wasn’t holding out hope. This week, I set up a box of the new litter right next to the old and this is what happened.
Max’s review - Max jumped in, did his business and buried his business. He then realized he was in an all-new type of sandbox. He dug four more holes just because he could. He’s been using the new box more frequently than the old one (not so much digging now that it isn’t a new thing).
Ellie’s review – The first day she spent about five minutes sniffing and investigating before puffing up her tail and strutting off. This continued for a couple of days when I was in the room. However, when I came home from work, I found that someone had been using the box on the sly (like the persnickety calico) and I had a couple of new gifts. She has quickly gotten used to this and also seems to prefer this over her original litter.
My review – I had not had good luck with the more environmentally friendly litter in the past. Either it didn’t really clump or didn’t handle the smell. Swheat Scoop does both very well. I like the texture and the fact there is less dust and tracking than our clay litter.
The new product comes in Original, Lightly scented and Multi-cat formulas. Learn more online and follow the grand on Facebook.
