The annual Kettering Labor Day parade will be held on Monday, September 6th, 2011 and the Humane Society of Greater Dayton will be there!

This year’s theme is “Set Sail to Holiday at Home" and brings a nautical flair to the Labor Day weekend. All of the festivities will revolve around sailing to a boatload of fun!

The Humane Society will once again be participating in the Holiday at Home Parade. The mobile adoption trailer will be there, along with many of their great adoptable dogs. Volunteers will be ready and able to provide information about the many services that the Humane Society provides.

Volunteers and adoptable dogs will be walking in the parade. The “Set Sail to Holiday at Home” parade port-of-call will be Far Hills Avenue at the corner of Far Hills and Stroop, sailing to the north. The parade begins at 9:50 AM and is one of the largest parades in the state of Ohio! It always attracts a great crowd, so be sure to set your chairs and blankets out early!
