According to Facebook: Greenville County Pet Rescue, this beauty has run out of time at the high-kill upstate shelter. This means the shelter may kill at any time. More information can be found on this Facebook thread.

Meet Griffin, a 2-year-old retriever. Griffin has just become available at the Greenville, South Carolina shelter. It only takes a few days for available to turn into a death sentence.

Griffin is dog and people friendly. He's a laid back kind of dog. A big sweetheart, who also knows how to sit.

Other than being heartworm positive, Griffin is healthy. All he needs now is for a rescue or foster to get him out of doggy jail, and on his way to a forever home.
