"Found is a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue and re-homing center focused on individualized medical and behavioral rehabilitation for homeless dogs and cats.
Every year Chicago alone destroys over 10,000 dogs and cats who were healthy, or had a treatable behavioral or medical condition, because no one was willing to give them the extra rehabilitation and care they needed. As a no-kill center, Found is diligently working to change that high kill number through our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home."
Found is on the forefront of creating a nurturing environment for Chicago's homeless dogs and cats. Currently in the process of opening a state-of-the-art facility, Found is committed to helping as many animals as possible. Not only does Found rescue dogs and cats facing euthanasia, but they also provide rehabilitation services such as water therapy, that they might have never been exposed to if Found hadn't rescued them.
Right now, Found has multiple dogs up for adoption and when the new facility opens,w ill be able to take in cats as well. If you are interested in adoption, fostering or making a doantion, visit their website at http://foundchicago.org
