Exotic bird show will be held in Greensboro this weekend

The annual Exotic Bird Show of Greensboro will take place this Saturday, April 14 from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

The cost of entrance to this event will be $3 for adults and free for those 10 yrs. of age and under. All admissions collected will be donated to the Girl Scouts.

It is sure to be a fun event with displays of many of the favorite birds that are so loved by those that own caged birds. The list of attending birds at the time of publishing include: Green Cheek Conures, Peachface Lovebirds, Fischer's Lovebirds, Linnies - Lineolated Parrots, Cockatiels, Quaker Parrots

Reptiles and other critters will also be in the lineup if that is your thing. Dog adoptions will also be available during the event. There will be items to cover all needs of the animals including bird food and toys, animal food and supplies, cages.

Artistry will be live chainsaw carvings by local artist Randy Everett. Adding to the that enjoyment, crafts, raffles, educational information, and children's books will provide a little something for everyone. Food and drinks will be available for those that would like to make a full day of enjoyment.

The show is located at 8818 West Market Street Colfax, NC 27235 (from I-40, exit 208 Sandy Ridge Road, head North to the end of the road, turn right on West Market Street. turn left on Francis Daily Court).
