A cancer cell.

Cancer is a fierce enemy to the canine community. Thirty percent of dogs who fall prey to this disease die. The number is even higher for older ones. As a consequence, medical research for a cure is vital. Fortunately, non-profit groups like Canine Cancer Research USA (CCRUSA) exist and with your assistance can help.
CCRUSA has a vision to elevate public awareness about cancer in dogs. They accomplish their goal primarily by raising funds for The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine. These two facilities avidly work on cancer research. Therefore, any aid they get financially goes toward worthy work.
Currently, CCRUSA's is sponsoring a walk-a-thon. It will be a PAWS event in Tyler State Park, Newtown, PA, on Sunday (September 6) from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 100% of the proceeds will go toward the schools they support. To register, visit their Website at http://www.ccrusa.org. If you can't attend, donate. Do your part to support man's best friend.
