If you adopted Roxy, you would immediately see how relaxed and easy going she tends to be. In fact, this sweet dog will even head for bed before the 11 o’clock news comes on!
Roxy is a healthy 8-year-old Dachshund/Lab mix, weighing approximately 27 pounds. She thrives on attention and enjoys spending time in the same room as her family. She would be happiest as the only dog in a household where someone is home most of the time with her to keep her on a regular routine.
This gentle lady loves going for car rides and on walks. She is well mannered and rarely barks, so she would be suitable living in an apartment. She will only bark to let you know she needs to go out.
Roxy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. If you think she would fit in with your family, contact Tiny Paws Dog Rescue via email at [email protected] and put ‘Pet Inquiry: Roxy PFId#16649088’ in the subject line or call 905-342-3189.
Tiny Paws Dog Rescue (TPDRC) is a charitable organization, comprised of volunteers who work to fill a much needed niche in the rescue community, that of saving and re-homing small (under 20 lbs.), mixed breed dogs and purebred dogs.
TPDRC works with shelters, pounds, other rescues, and private individuals to save dogs who might otherwise be euthanized and to place those dogs into our private foster homes, give standard veterinary care and other needed medical treatment, work on training issues and find them carefully screened forever homes. TPDRC also stresses the importance of educating the public about the necessity to spay/neuter, the deplorable conditions of puppy mill and pet store dogs, and the need to adequately care for and train the family pet.
