Annabelle from Good Mews Animal Foundation has a special message that she posted on the Good Mews Facebook page earlier today:
“Hi from Annabelle! The weekend is almost here and I am hoping and praying it will be my turn to be picked! I have been at Good Mews for almost two years and I think it is my turn! I am a really nice girl, so I am not sure why I have not been adopted yet. I love people and attention. I get along fine with other cats (but would not complain if I were a single cat!).
I am active and love to play and chase a laser light. Maybe what is holding me back is my poopy problem. But now I am on a special diet, so it is under control. My new family would just have to commit to feeding me a specific food. But that is a small price to pay for a wonderful kitty like me! Please consider me if you are looking for a new friend. I love Good Mews, but I really want my own home and family. If you adopt me this weekend, my adoption fee is reduced to $75! Hope to see you soon!”
The following is some additional information about Annabelle from the Good Mews website:
“Annabelle is a beautiful girl that is waiting quietly for her new family to come through the door and take her home. Annabelle was abandoned for reasons unknown to us. She is such a lovely cat we don’t know how anyone could give her up. But there are so many reasons why people have to give up their pets we won’t even begin to try to guess.
Annabelle is a little shy at first but don’t that that fool you. Once she feels comfortable in her environment, her true colors will shine. She loves to be petted and doted on. Annabelle is hoping someone will pick her soon and take her home. She is longing to have her own person to cuddle up with at night and spend lazy afternoons with on the couch. Come meet Annabelle and see if she is the girl for you!”
