Kern County Animal Control is going strong with their adoption programs in the three month ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge. The challenge runs from August through October. And at the end of August, Kern County ACD clocked in with a wonderful 529 pets adopted.
The cumulative total of the 50 participants in this challenge is 17,425 pets adopted for August, or an average of 349 pets per participating organization.
